This Skill Set covers the skills and knowledge required to: 

  • prepare financial reports in line with statutory reporting requirements;
  • implement continuous improvement of systems and processes of an organisation;
  • undertake a minor project or a section of a larger project;
  • implement and monitor an organisation’s work health and safety (WHS) policies, procedures and programs in the relevant work area in order to meet legislative requirements.

 

This Skill Set involves: 

  • compiling and analysing financial data;
  • using systems and strategies to encourage the team to participate in the process, monitoring and reviewing performance, and identifying opportunities for further improvements;
  • developing a project plan, administering and monitoring the project, finalising the project and reviewing the project to identify lessons learned for application to future projects.

This Skill Set is suitable for: 

  • individuals employed in a range of work environments who are responsible for preparing financial reports. They may be individuals providing administrative support within an organisation, or they might have responsibility for these tasks in relation to their own workgroup or role;
  • managers who are responsible for implementing the continuous improvement process to achieve the objectives of the organisation;
  • individuals who play a significant role in ensuring a project meets timelines, quality standards, budgetary limits and other requirements set for the project;
  • those with supervisory responsibilities in a work area who have a broad knowledge of WHS policies and contribute well-developed skills in creating solutions to problems through analysis and evaluation of information from a variety of sources. They provide supervision and guidance to others and have limited responsibility for the output of others.

On successful completion you will receive a Statement of Attainment. Transfer the skills towards a full qualification or a set of job ready skills.
